This review sought to combine all accessible data regarding the influence of n-3PUFA supplementation on muscle mass, strength, and function, particularly in healthy young and older adults. In order to gather the necessary data, four databases were searched, namely Medline, Embase, Cochrane CENTRAL, and SportDiscus.
